Snagging Inspection
Policies
Our mission is to ensure transparency and peace of mind as we safeguard your finances and well-being. Therefore, our Terms & Conditions are designed to be fully transparent, leaving no surprises. We believe they are fair and trust that you will share the same sentiment.
- Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans may change. Therefore, we offer a straightforward free cancellation policy if notified more than 24 hours before the inspection. Same-day cancellations will incur a full charge.
- Access Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure access to the property at the scheduled time. While your presence is mandatory, cooperation regarding access is necessary.
- Denial of Access: If access to the property is denied upon our arrival at the scheduled time, the full fee will be charged to you.
- Delays and Incomplete Reports: Delays or incomplete reports due to access issues or address errors beyond our control may result in additional charges.
- On-Site Presence: Our team will remain on-site until the inspection is complete or the allocated time expires. Any interference preventing completion, beyond our control, will result in full charges.
- Liability: We document all findings during the inspection, but we cannot be held responsible for incidents occurring after the inspection date.
- Observation Policy: We adhere to a ‘look but don’t touch’ policy during inspections, making observations without moving furniture or objects obstructing areas.
- Inspector’s Judgement: The judgement of the inspector is not contractually binding for any necessary work or maintenance.
- Scope of Inspection: Our standard inspection covers visible areas only, and certain areas may require special requests for further assessment.
- Liability Waiver: Zia Luxury Property Observer Est. accepts no liability for damages to the property during or after the inspection, or for any third-party work performed in inspected areas.
- Report Delivery: The standard service includes the delivery of a digital and PDF report through our system. Additional requirements may incur extra charges.
- Third-Party Solutions: We offer third-party solutions for repair work based on recommendations but take no responsibility for their delivery.
- Duration of Inspection: Standard booking slots last up to 4 hours, subject to discretion based on property size.
- Attendance Risks: Attendance at the inspection is voluntary, and any associated risks or expenses are solely your responsibility.
